Tamiya Impreza Monte Carlo
Description
The two-door version of the Subaru Impreza rally car that was introduced in 1999 featured a drive-by-wire throttle and a semi-automatic 6-speed gearbox, making it a highly balanced beast. It also featured a 4-cylinder turbocharged all-aluminum boxer engine.
This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Subaru Impreza that competed in the opening rally of the year in Monte Carlo. The form is faithfully depicted in polycarbonate, which is a material that is known for its strength, and separate parts are used to recreate the rear wing and side mirrors.
There are stickers included so that you can recreate all of the different team and sponsor logos. The chassis that the model uses is the versatile TT-02, which can handle both paved roads and level dirt surfaces with equal ease.
